Dungeoneering

Equipment - You only need the ring of Kinship. You are not allowed to take any other items in.

Lvl 1-99 (C6 stands for Complexity 6)

Method 1 Lvls 1-64: Duo/Solo C6 - At these levels, you will want to find a friend and duo the floors. If you can not find someone, doing it solo is just a tad slower. These levels will seem extremely slow, but trust me, it gets must faster!!

Method 1 Lvls 65-120 (yes, 120. You can get level 120 in Dungeoneering): 5:5 Larges - At these levels, it is fastest experience to do large floors with 5 other people. You can find teams on worlds: 77, 117, 148, or 53, although it is more difficult to find them on 148 and 53 if you have a low level (combat or dungeoneering, it does not say). You can also get together with a group of friends and do a dungeon together!! When you do this, though, you will rush floors 1-29 [usually would do a duo on c1] and then 5:5 larges on every floor 30 (it just stops...don't know why. It could've been the end but I'm just not sure)

Method 2 Lvls 65-120: Duo/Solo c6 - If you can not find a good team for doing large floors [can be hard at lower levels], then a pretty good alternative is to do c6 solo/duo all the way. This isn't quite as good experience as doing larges, but it is definitely better than not being able to find teams!

Terms - Here are some good terms to know when Dungeoneering with groups of people:

  • DE - Dead End [Do not enter unless there is a key]
  • DENK - Dead end no key
  • GGS - Group Gatestone
  • GS - Personal Gatestone
  • GD - Guardian Door [Kill all enemies in room]
  • HT - Home Teleport (you can use the Home Teleport spell to tele to the main room with the smuggler)
  • MONO - Monolith
  • ML - Monster Limit
  • SSH - Shadow Silk Hood
  • Keyer - Person who gets keys and opens doors
  • Tooler - Person who opens skiller doors

Tips - Prestige: Prestige is what gets you most of your experience. You get prestige by doing floors that you haven't already done, then resetting once you have done them all. Do not EVER repeat a floor that you have already done, as you will not get prestige experience. If you think you might unlock a new floor before resetting, do not do the last floor that you have unlocked until after you have done the rest. Besides that, it does not matter what order you do them in.

Gatestones: There are group gatestones, which everyone can teleport to, and personal gatestones. The personal gatestone requires cosmic runes and group gatestone requires law runes, so make sure you have both. It is a good idea to keep your gatestone in a safe, empty room so that you can teleport to it in case of danger.

Binding: You start with 1 bind, then at level 50 you get 2, at level 100 you get 3, and at level 120 you get 4. The best things to bind, in order, are:
  • 1 Bind - A good weapon (personally, I like to bind my best platebody but that's just me)
  • 2 Binds - Weapon and either shadow silk hood or the best platebody armour you can wear
  • 3 Binds - Weapon, shadow silk hood, and platebody [can replace silk hood with platelegs if you wish]
  • 4 Binds - Weapon, shadow silk hood, platebody, and platelegs
Speed - Dungeoneering starts out slow, but it is one of the fastest skills at higher levels, ranking at about an 8 out of 10.

Uses - Dungeoneering is a very helpful skill because of all the rewards you can get. The chaotic weapons are currently some of the best in the game, especially for Slayer, bossing, and pking. The bonecrucher, bone necklaces, and herbicide can all be helpful during some Slayer tasks. Also, the frost dragon reward dungeon, unlocked at level 85, is one of the best money methods because of the bone drops along with good effigy drop rates.
